Information we collect

Location data

• Why: Core gameplay — we track your running path to draw territory polygons on the map.
• What: GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, accuracy, timestamp) during active runs.
• How: Collected only when you start a run. Background location is used only while a run is in progress.
• Stored: In our database, associated with your account. Used for territory calculation, steal detection, and shown on the in-game leaderboard map.

Account data

• Email address (from Firebase Auth, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In)
• Username (chosen by you)
• Avatar (chosen from 10 options)
• Run history (distance, duration, route, date)
• Push notification token (if enabled)

Device sensors

• Accelerometer, gyroscope, step count — used locally on your device to improve GPS accuracy. Not uploaded.

How we use your data

• Render your territories on the map
• Calculate distances, paces, and game statistics
• Enable multiplayer features (leaderboards, territory steals, challenges)
